Arts for All, based in Mansfield, PA, was established in 2005 by Julie Schlosser, MT-BC and strives to increase the overall quality of life for individuals of all ages and abilities through active participation in the arts. Through school, clinic, and community-based programs we hope to make the benefits of music and other creative arts as accessible as possible. Services provided include: on-site and clinic-based individual and group music therapy, center and family-based early childhood music, traditional and adaptive music lessons, an array of community music events and experiences, and educational programs and presentations related to these topics.
Julie Schlosser, MT-BC graduated from Mansfield University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. She interned at Forbes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, working with older adults, and Forbes Regional Hospital in the short-term psychiatric department. She earned her board-certification in music therapy in 2002 and has worked with a variety of populations including early childhood, intellectually disabled adults, senior citizens, and school-aged children with special needs. Julie started her business, Arts for All, in 2005 and has been providing music therapy services, early childhood music, community music experiences, and traditional and adaptive music lessons throughout the Twin Tiers region ever since.
Elizabeth Carras, MT-BC graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. She interned at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic before coming to work at Arts for All in January of 2015 as a board-certified music therapist. She currently provides music therapy services in the Wellsboro-Mansfield area, serving the school-age and early childhood populations, as well as teaching traditional and adaptive lessons and providing community music experiences.
